All the ideas from the Five a Day - supporting students with additional needs in a mainstream class course that could be used in class were helpful and Teachers were very keen to use some of the ideas, like exit tickets, back in the classroom. It was really helpful that it fitted so clearly with our retrieval practice training last year and previous work on our whole-school curriculum. Delivery was fast-paced and Lesley was easy to listen to and engage with. She combined the theory with workable, practical ideas which were well received. I would rate my booking as very high quality - it was informative, based in research and easy to apply to the classroom and our children's needs. Thank-you!

Lesley was fantastic in delivering Judging the Impact of your Curriculum to our school. All staff got a lot out of the day. We have had a lot of great training with consultants from Chris Quigley and it has allowed us as a school to evaluate and reflect on our next steps.  The quality of the training is excellent and we have already booked another day with you in January. 

The day went very well and was a shared virtual inset with 5 other schools. All of the schools reported that they found the content delivered by Lesley useful and thought provoking. We also use the Essentials Curriculum and Depth of Learning, and the training has really helped all the staff build on their understanding of the curriculum we have created. I would rate my booking as excellent, practical and research informed.

The day was absolutely fascinating and completely what we were hoping for. We have the reassurance we wanted on whether we are going in the right direction with curriculum design in the early years and have taken-away so many ideas and points for reflection. Lesley was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging to listen to and the content was relevant, in-depth and accessible. Our booking was excellent from start to finish and my colleagues and I agreed that it was the most enjoyable, relevant, interesting course we have attended in some time. Thank you very much.

Sophie and I absolutely loved the day, thank you so much. Lesley is fantastic! Lesley offered her thoughts and made suggestions to build a curriculum journey that made sense. It was great to get some guidance on the implementation of our plans in the short and long term and to set some targets/gather ideas for monitoring. Lesley really listened to us and was able to decide quickly what she thought about our suggestions.

We had a brilliant day with Lesley today on PSHCE. She led the sessions so well and was extremely supportive and flexible. Our work with Chris and the team has had a massive impact on our curriculum re-design.

Very informative on the background to the changes and relevant research findings. Some good ideas for the stages of curriculum development in the year ahead, together with a number of useful resources and texts. Teachers went away with a good understanding of the issues involved and were enthused to develop a number of the suggested ideas. Very pleased, indeed with the day. Good pace and excellent links with new Ofsted framework – very up-to-date. Lesley managed to fit two training days into one, so it was excellent value. Thank you for organising the day; it was perfect! Lesley was great.

We would use the Skype option again. It worked well on the first occasion and was a way for a good number of our staff to receive training at once. I liked the fact that Lesley not only suggested what we could do in class, but gave us links to find more examples to help us. I shall definitely incorporate some of the suggested activities, like writing a paragraph with words provided, using a couple of minutes for reflection in class and using appropriate questioning to encourage children to come up with better vocabulary, among others into my lessons next year. I found the training informative. It made me think of new ideas and ways that I can improve my focus on vocabulary.

The pace of the sessions was excellent. The whole group was engaged and time was given to allow each group to discuss the issues and share their thoughts with the whole group. Lesley led the session well and engaged everyone, and the whole training was geared to our school. An excellent consultant.

Lesley was very friendly and professional. The staff valued the training and it has provided ideas for how we can continue to develop our curriculum provision at Northcote.
